Sitting directly off of Hwy 2, we are the closest motel to the casino (ask us about free playing money) and we are next door to the UP’s ONLY drive-in theater. Have stayed here a couple of times now. Owners are extremely friendly and accommodating. Rooms are spacious and nicely decorated. Rooms and bathrooms are always neat and clean. They have an outdoor fire pit, with plenty of chairs, that they usually get going in the evenings. Great place to kick back and relax. Would highly recommend!

We had an excellent stay. This room was large. The beds were comfortable and it was spotlessly clean. It’s about 3 miles past the center of town, but we found it was a superior, quiet location, and the hosts were very friendly and efficient. Would highly recommend and will definitely stay here again.

Great Upper Peninsula Motel. We stayed here based on reviews and photos, and were not disappointed. It was clean, updated and had some nice touches like a bonfire in the evening complete with s’mores, and new friends. The owner was welcoming and helpful with local info. We stopped here on a road trip because of the reviews and we were not disappointed. Ronn is a treasure and was so welcoming and kind. The room was cozy, clean, with a smart tv, coffee, and a super nice bathroom! Highly recommend this spot if you’re planning to stay in the area.
